for some reason we though it was like 5 hours away...
HA! SURPRISE!
its a two hour car drive for us!
WHAT WHAT?!
so this past weekend
we packed up the littles and headed out.
it was magical.
just what our little nest needed.
we stopped for lunch...
a special treat for us.
i honestly can't remember the last time the four of us just went out.
the "beach", its actually a lake that is like a beach?...
its gorgeous is what it is.
well... its my grounding zone.
im weird.
i think we have established this.
im an oxymoron.
i thrive at the beach.
the water. the sun.
i thrive in the cold temps.
blanket cozy. thunderstorms.
go figure.
so this weekend was the perfect remedy for the crazy cold we've had this past winter.
the littles were so amazed by the water.
the sand.
the seagulls.
it was just...
breath-taking.
we had our own little zone.
a paradise.
the littles could play,
daddy and mama just watched.
enjoyed.
relaxed.
recharged.
solomon has been rather clingy lately with his teeth popping through.
so it was so nice to have a nursing session in the warm sun, waves crashing...
he was so zen.
calm.
happy.
i will treasure these moments forever...
ill shut up now and just leave you these...
